Grooming may expose your pet to certain risks, including but not limited to: cuts, nicks, scratches, stress, anxiety, allergic reactions, and aggravation of pre-existing medical conditions. All precautions are taken to try and prevent these issues.
Your pet must be up to date on the rabies vaccine, as required by state law, and can provide a current certificate.
It is imperative that you notify your groomer if your pet has fleas, ticks, contagious conditions, pre-existing health conditions, or aggressive behavior. Preventing to disclose this information in advance puts the works and other pets at risk.
In the event of an extreme emergency, if you cannot be reached immediately, we will transport the pet to the nearest emergency veterinarian and authorize the veterinarian to provide treatment as necessary.
Emergencies directly related to grooming services (such as lacerations or grooming injuries) will be covered by the groomer handling your pet. Emergencies related to other medical or behavioral conditions (such as seizures, strokes, or breathing issues) will be at your expense, Bubbly Bow Wow and the groomers will not be held liable.
Removing mats may increase the risk of skin irritation, hematomas, cuts, or changes in behavior.
We will use professional judgment regarding de-matting or shaving, prioritizing my pet’s safety and comfort. It is important to understand that severely matted coats require additional time and care, and extra fees may apply.
If your pet becomes aggressive, dangerous, or too stressed to safely complete the groom, the service may be stopped. Your groomer may suggest the following; completing the groom in multiple sessions, scheduling a more private appointment, or consulting with a veterinarian about medication.
All groomers here at Bubbly Bow Wow prioritizes the pet’s comfort and stress level. Additional handling fees may apply.
Contact your groomer if you are going to be more than 5 minutes late to your pet's appointment time. You may be asked to reschedule if you are going to be more than 15 minutes late, or my pet may need to stay longer, depending on how busy the schedule for the day is. You will be notified when you pet is ready for pick up. Communicate with your groomer, PRIOR to your appointment, if you have an obligation or need you pet finished by a certain time. When you receive your "ready for pick up" message, please give us your ETA, so we can plan accordingly.
Cancellation and rescheduling of an appointment, by the client, must be done within 24 hours, failure to do so will result in payment of HALF the service charge. In the event of inclement weather, a family emergency or any other uncontrollable circumstance, the groomer has the discretion to waive any fees.
It is considered a "no-show" when the client is not available at the scheduled appointment time and does not contact the groomer to cancel or reschedule. We reserve the right to charge the FULL service charge due to the loss of revenue caused by a "no-show". Please make every effort to call and cancel or reschedule when possible to avoid such situations.
Groomers reserve the right to cancel or reschedule a groom at their discretion. Every effort will be made to reschedule at a time convenient for both the client and the groomer.
If you are not satisfied with any aspect of my pet's groom or experience, notify us within 48 hours. We are committed to addressing and resolving your concerns to the best of our ability.
